On April 4th, the Army Recruitment Office (ARO), Rangapahar, in collaboration with Spear Corps Zonal Workshop, conducted an extensive outreach program in Dimapur, Nagaland. The aim was to boost Indian Army recruitment across various categories, including Officers and Agniveer.
A press release from the PRO & Spokesperson, ministry of Defence, Manipur, Nagaland and Southern Arunachal Pradesh, stated that over 83 eligible students from the Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre, Dimapur, attended the program.
The sessions focused on the Agnipath recruitment scheme, highlighting its importance, nuances, advantages, and post-service opportunities. Queries were also addressed. Additionally, the program detailed Officer entry schemes such as the National Defence Academy (NDA), Indian Military Academy (IMA), Officers Training Academy (OTA), Military Nursing Services (MNS), and Territorial Army (TA), along with the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview process.
Aspirants received information on eligibility criteria, application procedures, and selection processes for each scheme. They also learned about the Army’s organization and different Arms and Services. Handouts, posters, pamphlets, and other promotional materials were distributed.
