The highly anticipated Miss Universe Nagaland 2025 grand finale is just around the corner, set to electrify the Regional Centre of Excellence for Music & Performing Arts (RCEMPA) in Jotsoma on June 10th. BASN officially announced the finale during a recent press conference at The Mirage, Kohima. According to Sarah Konyak, BASN Media Secretary, an intensive open audition held on May 17th saw 24 hopefuls, with 14 exceptional contestants ultimately shortlisted. These 14 finalists are now poised to compete for the coveted Miss Universe Nagaland title, representing the best of Nagaland’s youth and talent.


Mele Pucho, President of BASN, emphasized the true essence of the event. He highlighted that Miss Universe Nagaland serves as a vital stepping stone, providing young women with invaluable exposure and preparing them for larger national and international stages. The remarkable success of Ruopfiizhanuo Whiso, who achieved a historic Fourth Runner-Up position at Miss Universe India 2024, stands as a testament to this mission and a source of immense pride for Nagaland.


Adding an extra layer of prestige to this year’s finale, Miss Universe India 2024 Rhea Singha and Miss Multinational India Divija Gambhir will be making their first appearance in Nagaland. Their presence is sure to inspire and motivate the aspiring contestants. Preparations are in full swing, with renowned expert The Arnish Groomer currently in Kohima, meticulously coaching and training the finalists to ensure they are at their absolute best.
